  • Challenge their current frame of mind, assumptions, and beliefs to help alleviate head trash

Here’s what you get:

  • 10 live working sessions in a small class size so you can learn from the class members and bounce ideas off each other and your instructor
  • Energy Leadership Index Assessment so you can get a solid idea of your strengths and opportunities
  • 3-4 hours of 1-1 executive coaching so you can get deeper insights into material that is covered or help in the exact areas that matter to you

As an optional add on: A 360-degree review is a feedback process that involves multiple sources of feedback, 360 degrees around the participant, to help them improve their performance and leadership. The anonymous feedback helps to ensure participants get a clear picture of how they are being perceived and showing up. This is a powerful process that includes a 1 hour debrief to discuss outcomes and create a plan on how to move forward with the information received.

“During the course of my career I have attended several leadership workshops and have never felt as much value as I have experienced from this Leadership Lab! The lessons allowed me to really self-reflect on my own personal leadership style and also facilitated discussions with my team members regarding their own saboteurs and how they impact team dynamics and decisions!”

“The Leadership Lab, with Jeni at the helm, provides a safe space for vulnerability to strip away armor and to understand and live out my mission and values as a leader. I have found learning about energy leadership most profound as it has brought a greater level of awareness and understanding to how I show up as a leader and how I can connect with others I lead.”

Program details

Session 1 —Setting the Stage for Ideal Leadership and The Spiral Method

Getting the results you want as a leader requires introspection. You will gain clarity around what Ideal Leadership means for you. We’ll also begin to build relationships with others in class utilizing the Spiral Method (something you can take back to your team). After class, you’ll meet with your coach to debrief the Energy Leadership Assessment you completed and begin to identify patterns and action steps to create more awareness and movement towards your ideal image of a leader.

Session 2 — 7 Levels of Energy Leadership

At any given moment you are accessing one of 7 levels of energy. In this session you will leave with solid knowledge of the 7 levels and learn how to use this as a powerful self-awareness tool, allowing you to determine your triggers and patterns more easily. This tool also helps to alter your perspective, shift your consciousness, and increase your energy as a result.

Session 3 — Blocks and Barriers to Possibilities and Opportunities

In addition to learning about the seven levels, you will explore the four main energy blocks that could be keeping you from the energy you want. We’ll explore which ones are affecting your ability to accomplish what you want at work and with your team. Finally, we’ll discuss how to shift the blocks.

Session 4 — Values- The Foundation

Most people think they know their top 3 values and then after a deeper dive they are surprised about what they discover. This session guides you to identify conscious based values that will ultimately help you dispel blocks and create movement towards what you really want. Understanding how your values align with your organization as well as your individual employees is crucial for gaining clarity, buy in, and ease. This will set us up to further explore values alignment with your organization. After this session, you will meet with your coach to discuss your blocks and your values.

Session 5 — Organizational Culture

Employees at organizations with strong cultures are more committed than those with a weak culture. We will discover how cultures are created and give you an opportunity to analyze your organization’s culture to ensure it stands the test of time to support a successful, growing company. We will explore how to create a “sticky” culture where people know how to take actions in alignment with the culture and what kinds of outcomes you desire (including how people FEEL to work) in your company.

Session 6 — Communication

Effective communication is the best preventative medicine in a company. It is also a key solution to most problems. We will learn communication skills that help de-escalate situations and allow for more clear and effective communication. If you purchased the 360 assessment, you’ll meet with your coach to debrief the report after this class.

Session 7 — Team Development

Exploring the 5 qualities of an effective team and how to recognize if your team has these qualities or not can be very helpful when developing your team. You will self-assess your team and create some goals accordingly.

Session 8 — Team Growth – Building Strength & Purpose

Knowing how to build your bench, delegate intentionally, and create a succession plan is key for team growth. Supporting the individuals on your team with their professional development will help keep them engaged and be a large part of your retention strategy as you are strengthening, growing, and maintaining teams. You will walk away with an action plan around one task you want to delegate and a spreadsheet that helps make succession planning easy to chart. After this class, you will meet with your coach to discuss anything coming up for you at this time.

Session 9 — Managing Over Time

Change is the one true constant. Organizations that welcome change, thrive. Managing through this is an important skill that you will learn in this class. We will discuss change management and how it isn’t about managing the change itself but managing the process of people making the change. You will receive a “Communication plan” template that you can utilize in your company as change occurs. We will also spend time reviewing.

Session 10— Presentation of M.A.P. (Management Action Plans)

Throughout our time you will be building a MAP, so you have a clear and concise action plan as to how to integrate and reap the benefits of the learned information. You will present your plan during session 9 (and if applicable, your supervisor is invited to attend).
