Amy Hildebrand is the Project Manager at Turning the Corner HR, where she supports our team and clients with creative people strategy, human resources operations, and talent-focused project work. She combines structured planning with deep empathy to help leaders solve complex HR challenges, strengthen teams, and improve workplace effectiveness.
Before joining Turning the Corner HR, Amy held leadership and talent acquisition roles across mission-driven organizations, including work in the drug policy reform sector and staffing functions in the cannabis and psychedelics industries as well as for the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. Through these roles, she developed hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, and organizational planning for growing teams. An experienced non-profit leader, Amy held board positions in the advocacy space, including with Students for Sensible Drug Policy.
Amy’s core areas of expertise include talent acquisition, project management, community engagement, and strategic relationship building, with a consistent focus on strengthening internal processes and supporting leaders who are scaling their people operations. Her work connects directly to improving human resources practices, enhancing leadership capacity, and aligning recruitment with organizational goals.
A proud Chicagoan, Amy loves the sunshine and summertime. She reads tarot cards and enjoys cooking and hiking. Amy loves the Grateful Dead and is always happy to talk about music, pop-culture, and history.
