Melanie brings more than 25 years of progressive human resources leadership to her work, with deep expertise spanning total compensation design, benefits strategy, HRIS implementation, workforce planning, and organizational development. Her career spans the for-profit, nonprofit, and public sectors — giving her a uniquely broad perspective on the people challenges organizations face at every stage.

She has a proven track record of stepping into complex organizations and driving meaningful change — whether leading large-scale HRIS conversions, redesigning compensation structures, overseeing total rewards programs, or directing enterprise-wide operational divisions. Her experience spans the full spectrum of HR functions, with particular depth in total compensation design, benefits strategy, payroll administration, and systems implementation.

Her highly specialized credentials — including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), and Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) — reflect a career built on technical rigor and a genuine passion for getting compensation and benefits right.

Originally from Montana, Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Montana State University-Billings. Outside of work, she enjoys watching sports of all kinds, baking delicious desserts, and enjoying the mountains of Colorado with her husband and dog.
